In between chasing after my two beautiful boys I write my stories. I have to have a notebook nearby even while doing the dishes because sometimes my characters' coversations pop in and I'm just their means of being heard.
I also love to read books--especially YA. And I'm a music nerd. When it's not playing in the background, I'm playing it on the piano or the clarinet. I've been playing music since I was seven years old.
When I'm not writing, my mega-supportive husband and I spend our evenings plugging into some bygone (and some not) TV dramas. I love The Office, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and now we are on 24. Can't wait to see what happens!
Currently, I'm working on a new project, a YA sci-fi titled S.W.A.K., about a spy-in-training who, in a moment of desperation to complete a mission, kisses a boy not knowing that the poison in his lips will not only make her literally addicted to him, but will eventually take her life. She has to figure out how to break his curse, and decide whether what she feels for him is real, or part of a spell.
I'm also querying my YA horror, PHOBIC, about a girl who, after opening a forbidden door in her haunted house, begins having visions of the original residents of her house from 1875, and she has to sever their hold over her before one of their ghosts takes her body for herself.
